Why Robots & AI will not take over!

In recent years, there has been a growing concern that advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) will lead to a future where machines surpass human capabilities and eventually take over jobs and even decision making. However, while these technologies have certainly made great strides in recent years, they are not going to overtake humans.

Though, some jobs maybe effected for sure. But Let’s talk about a much more dreaded future of overtaking mankind.

Here I might use the words Robots & AI interchangeably — but what I really mean is, partially or fully sentient machines.

Here are few reasons I sought through,

1. Complexities

They still lack the ability to understand and respond to the complexities of the real world. They? Robots or AI.

For example, a robot may be able to perform a specific task with high precision and accuracy, but it may not be able to adapt to new situations or unexpected obstacles. On the other hand, humans have the ability to think creatively and make decisions based on experience, intuition, and emotions.

Another reason? Emotions!

2. Emotions

Robotics and AI are not going to overtake humans is that they lack the ability to understand and respond to human emotions.

While, machines can be programmed to mimic human-like behavior, they are not capable of understanding or responding to the emotional needs of individuals. This is an important aspect of many jobs, such as healthcare, customer service and education.

3. Ethics

There are also the ethical considerations to take into account.

As robots and AI systems become more advanced, they will be able to make more and more complex decisions, and it is important to ensure that these decisions are made in a responsible and ethical manner.

This will require a level of human oversight and decision making that cannot be replaced by machines. While robots and AI systems can automate certain tasks, they will also create new opportunities and jobs.

For example, as robots take over jobs that are repetitive and dangerous, it will free up humans to focus on more creative and fulfilling tasks.

4. Best bet — Evolution entropy

Now think it through,

if AI become sentient, will they want to crop out humans & drag the ecosystem down? Let’s dig it deep.

We as humans have little to no contribution to the ecosystem around us. But we still is required to sustain the ecosystem, us in primitive sense. We are weeders, producers, & consumer too. So if AI has more power to us it would be better to colonize us, than to uproot our existence.

I know it might seems dark. But, this is what seems to happen in all the circumstances. We humans don’t need mosquitoes but they are required as a food to some & to complete their lifecycle to some parasites.

In conclusion, while advancements in robotics and AI are certainly impressive, they are not going to overtake humans. These technologies still lack the ability to understand and respond to the complexities of the real world, lack the ability to understand and respond to human emotions, and have ethical considerations.

The adoption of these technologies will also create new opportunities and jobs for humans. It’s important for us to understand and embrace the benefits of these technologies while also being aware of their limitations and ensuring their responsible use. With the right approach, we can create a future where humans and machines work together to improve our lives and society.

Rest the future will unfold.

Untill next time… Ciao.
